Tutor | Cultural & Lifelong Learning | Community Leader
I am a tutor and education specialist with over ten years' experience, working across History, English, and Cultural Learning. My work focuses on helping students develop not only academically, but as confident, independent thinkers, prepared for life beyond the classroom.
Alongside my tutoring, I lead projects and communities that explore how education connects to the wider world. Through thought leadership—what I call “digital exhibitions”—I explore how digital culture and AI connect to interdisciplinary learning and creativity.
I am a PGCE-qualified tutor, specialising in History and English. I have studied at the University of York and University College London, and I have worked at the University of Cambridge.
My approach goes beyond subject knowledge. I work with students to build:
I create supportive, structured learning environments where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, asking questions, and developing independence in their learning.
With over ten years' experience across all stages of education, I also offer specialist mentoring for students preparing for the 11+ at leading independent girls' schools.
As a member of the Tutoring Association and NASEN, I am committed to high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and supporting a wide range of learning differences.
CV available on request.
Through my company, Better Transitions, I am also offering tailored support to young people to support them as they transition through different stages of education, and into work.
As digital culture and AI increasingly shape how we learn and work, this transition is becoming more complex.
Through this programme, I help students to:
How do we prepare young people for a world shaped by AI, digital culture, and changing workplaces?
Through my newsletter, the Better Transitions Periodical, I share insights, research, and practical ideas on supporting young people in a rapidly changing world, including the impact of digital culture, AI, and developments such as the UK's Online Safety Act.

Centred on lifelong learning, Neuro Networks is a space for curiosity, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
The network brings together perspectives from a range of disciplines, with a particular focus on neurodiversity and emerging technologies such as AI:
